Eiermann³
Wiener Festwochen 2025
ORF Funkhaus

As a personal contribution to the social design exhibition at Wiener Festwochen 2025 on the topic of LOVE my project Eiermann³ combines three vintage Wilde + Spieth SE 68 Eiermann chairs into a single conversational structure using reclaimed PETG bottles and a heat gun. The chairs are arranged in a triangular formation, bringing bodies into close proximity and subtly choreographing intimacy, dialogue, and shared presence.

The PETG bottles, slipped over the chair legs and shrunk with heat, act as a minimal connecting element - structural yet deliberately understated. They are not invisible, but they aim to interfere as little as possible, allowing the original chairs to remain legible while gently shifting their function from individual seating to collective arrangement.

At any moment, the intervention can be reversed: the bottles can be removed and the chairs released back into singularity. In this sense, the work operates as a truly circular gesture - adding no permanent material, consuming minimal energy, and existing somewhere between object, situation, and social invitation.
